Norma J. Branham was born August 1, 1931, in Hannibal, Missouri, to Karl K. and Catherine Herl Fitzgerald. She was married to Roy E. Branham on August 6, 1949, in Hannibal, Missouri. She had six sons, Mike (Marlene), Rick (Robin), Joe, Dave (Sue), Tom (Stacy), and Mark (Gina); two daughters, Mary (Welton) and Lisa (Steve); 29 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, one brother-in-law, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Mabel Hayes Fitzgerald; one sister, Mary Flynn, one granddaughter, Jennifer Branham; and one great-granddaughter, Heaven Essig.
Norma was a homemaker and later retired from Swiss Colony. She enjoyed oil painting, playing the piano, and playing with her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Church and in the past she was the leader of the 11:30 a.m. Mass Choir. She also liked to organize the prayer list at her church.
